Ok so I am buying a used car from a person however the title will not be here for 2 weeks. Do any of you know what to do as far as getting the car and being legal until the title gets in my name?
now its not stollen its regestered and insured under there name. Should I go for a certified and notarized letter for a bill of sale with obligation of the title before I pay them?

   Make sure you get a set of keys with it. Find out through your local DMV who the previous owners were. Send them a certified letter requesting that you now have the vehicle and want the title. If they don’t respond you can file for the transfer of the title. Or find a junker at the junk yard by it for the VIN # and change all the parts over to the good car and take the non-titled car back to the junk yard.

   well they have no tittle then they have no money would be smart no tittle no money…. see its like this now.. what if its not their car and you give them money and they just move and the car belongs to some little old lady on the other side of town see what im getting at ..

   never buy a car if they dont have the tittle never.. too many cars a round to be wondering if its going to come or if it will come sorry not smart to buy it without what id do is walk
