I just moved from New York state to Illinois two months ago.
However, my company plans me to move me to the office in California.
I’m trying to sell my car in Illinois before I move to California and planning to buy a new or used car over there.
I don’t plan on changing my title, insurance, registration from NY to Illinois since I’m changing my car and live in California.
How can I sell an out-of-state registered car?

The Explorer has less than 21k miles and is in great condition. It’s certified used by Ford but has worse gas mileage than the Edge.

The Edge has 18k mi, but the CARFAX report shows an accident and damage to the front of the vehicle. No damage is apparent upon inspection of the car, but the extent of the damage is uncertain. I like the design of the Edge, but am reluctant due to uncertain damages.

Thoughts?

I’m 19, I have no credit, and I’m buying a used car. No more than 6k.
How do I finance one? Would it be better to get a loan from my bank? Are you supposed to get pre approved or something? Please help I’m lost!!

I am looking to buy a 2000 or 2001 used car, but I want something that’s going to last for a while and not cost me a lot in maintainence costs. Also, I need to make sure that the cost for future repairs are not going to kick my **** in the long run. I just need something reliable that won’t leave me standing, helpless on the side of the freeway waiting for a tow truck to help me.
