well i bought a used car in November. I paid 250 for the registration at the dealership. A month goes by and i received my registration and license plates, but my registration was dated May 2009 and will expire on May 2010. i paid 250 for registration on November so can i get this fix at the DMV and bringing proof that bought and paid the car registration on November not May?

I bought a used vehicle from a Toyota Dealership in town over a month ago, but the weird thing is I still haven’t received the registration (tags) from DMV. Does anyone know how long it takes to get the car registration from the DMV when the dealership submits it? Thanks for your help!

I recently purchased a used car that is registered in Florida. I need to transfer the title over to me and register it in Louisiana. What do i need to complete this? Does anything need to be notarized? I tried looking at the DMV’s website but they dont make it easy to figure it out. Thanks!!

Getting a license plate for a recently bought used car in Michigan?

I am buying a used car here in Michigan from an individual but plan to move to Tennessee next week to go to college. Can I get Michigan plates and use them in Tennessee, or will I have to get Tennessee license plates when I move down there? If so, then can I just get a temporary Michigan license plate or something? I am an older adult, single, and living with my sister here in Michigan. Both of my parents are dead.

I am interested in buying a used car and the owner ( seller) told me that he bought this car when it has been declared total salvage and got it fixed himself. The car looks great and drive good but I am just afraid that if I buy it I might have problem like problem with the title or any legal issue. What shall I do ?please help
