I will be going to college soon and I am looking for a car that is economic and does not use a lot of gas (gas prices are expensive!!!). I want to know when buying a car what characteristics to look for in order to see if a car uses to much gas. I know that big trucks need a lot of gas often. But in a regular small car, what info should I need to know? A car that I looked at said that gas mileage was 34 mpg city/40 mpg hwy. What does this mean? Also, do I need to check the engine? For example, 1.5L I4, 16 valve, 106@6000 hp. What do I need to look for in order to save gas. What are the best cars right now that do not use much gas, of good quality, and economic?

I heard it’s good to have a car from a good car company that after time will still have parts for your old car. Does anyone know which car company is the best in this standard? I think local mechanics would know best. I plan on getting a car and stick with it for a long time.
Thank you in advance for your help

Out of all the luxury cars, which car is the most expensive to maintain and repair?
I was just wondering because I currently own a ’98 Mercedes C230, and I’m trying to figure out if I should keep it or buy something else. BUT I need to know if it would be the best option because I might be putting more money into a newer car (any) , but I do want another luxury-type car. Any suggestions?

I have been with out my car for more than 2.5 months the repair shop keep doing a miss and miss, cause to call it a hit and miss would be lying. To this day the car is not running. Now to release my car it will cost me over $600 for repairs I didn’t tell them to make on my car. Since I have a new car I really don’t care if it sits there for a lifetime, but can they sale my car parts without having title to the car? And I am responsible for the repair cost that I didn’t authorized them to do?

Am thinking of upgrading from a 04 nissan sentra to Lexus IS 350, because of its luxury and hp. Does anyone know of mid luxuries cars? a car that cost around 40k, with all the good luxury features that the lexus IS 350 has or better, with parkin assistant, with 300hp or more, with navigation system, all wheeled drive, sun roofed, with a great braking system, with great safety features, with lots of room in the interior n trunk ( i mean leg room, just like d rav4(2007) Can someone tell me what a transmission is? wat does people mean by 6speed trans

I will be out of town for about three months. I was wondering what to do with my car. Someone told me that the car battery will completely drain and I need to get a replacement when I come back. Any comments?
BTW my car is 2000 toyota camry v6.

My girlfriend has a 2002 Hyundai Accent with about 130,000 miles. We took it to a car wash. After leaving the car wash, the check engine light started flashing and the engine shook. After about 15 minutes the shaking stopped and the car drove normally again. This happened about 3 weeks ago and there have been no issues since then. What would cause her car to do this?

I drive a 92 protege. I was giving a standard driving lesson, when, after a stall, the car wouldn’t start again. The battery was not holding a full charge, so I replaced it and the posts. I now get a much louder clicking sound, but the car still won’t start. I have successfully push-started the car, and checked the fuses. The car is old, but was running fine before the lesson, and gave no indication of trouble to come. Is the starter the only possibility, or does anyone know of another possible explanation?

Here is the problem. In about few days I should be receiving my car that has bad battery. The thing is that it will be coming on a big truck that usually has 3-4 cars on the bottom and about same on top. When truck gets here I need to be able to start battery to get car down to the ground. This is the reason I cannot simply jump start from another car.

So I was wondering I can take battery off my friend’s car and use it to jump start it that way? After I do that, will it work on his car?
